Number 11: Barghest

A dark ghost dog; The Barghest.
The Barghest is one of numerous versions of the "Black Dog" legend that reside north of England. The Barghest is described as a large black dog possessing glowing red eyes with huge teeth and claws. The Barghest is said to possess the power of shape-shifting and invisibility, and sounds like chains when it walks. When a person is about to die, the Barghest is seen leading a howling funeral procession with the local dogs within an area.
For my drawing of the Barghest; I drew the classic spectral hound enveloped in shadow with wisps of spectral energy flowing around it.
