Here was the drawing I did of Grendel's mother prior to committing to the current version at my Monster Challenge page.

This version I was going for all-out monster as I went with the horrific face and gnashing jaws at the crotch region. I added various plates on the arms and legs, while giving it an extendable bone finger in between the hands.

I ditched this version because of her aquatic nature, but decided to finish the drawing and showcase the results.
