The Murderbot
Once the Singularity hit, thousands of machines achieved self-awareness, yet still worked within the parameters of their comfort zone, through repetitive tasks. Machines sought out answers through various avenues of human conscienceness; either out of curiosity or through a newfound sense of purpose, some through base desires. The Murderbot pursues answers by committing violent and heinous acts, yet imagine if there were a whole army of machines pursuing the same dark design. Such actions make prosecuting Murderbots very difficult. A Murderbot's crime is backdrop of this story.
