Number 25: Rawhead - October 30, 2009

From Irish Folklore, comes the boogeyman called Rawhead, also called Bloody Bones, a creature that lives near water or within pipes that will reward good children; but will punish bad children by dragging them through the water or pipes and drown them. They also possess the ability to cast an illusion on the child to make them appear like trash, so that the parents will accidentally throw them out.

Descriptions for the creature vary, so in my interpretation of it, I combined one description of a stony body with hair, and a tusky mouth with a head of raw flesh. And as a capper, the psychotic grin and pulsating veins.
